My name is Caitlin Meyer and I love animals.

I’ve loved animals since before I could talk. Some of the earliest photos of me are next to our family dog, Muffin. I never needed to be reminded about the responsibility of caring for my childhood pets. I was the first to volunteer to take Muffin on a walk or to clean the cat litter.

As a young professional who relocated to Columbia from the Cleveland area, I was heartbroken that my landlord did not allow me to have my own furry family members. I began pet sitting to fill the puppy-sized hole in my heart.
